About the Project
The 2010 SCBA Special Edition Print is the second edition of an ongoing series. Each year SCBA will tap a member of the local book arts community to interpret a conceptual idea – currently “Unbound” – and provide artwork for a limited run of 100 fine art prints, signed and editioned by the artist, and available exclusively as a fundraiser through SCBA. 25 prints will be reserved for future box sets, auction items, and Supporter incentives at the Founder level, so only 75 will be available for sale to the public!
The 2010 edition is a collaborative effort designed and printed by Chandler O'Leary of Anagram Press, and Jessica Spring of Springtide Press. Collaboration is not new to this Tacoma duo; Jessica and Chandler work together on the ongoing Feminist Broadside series, in recognition that a woman's work is never done. The SCBA Board of Directors is thrilled to be working with these two Northwest artists, and we thank them both for lending their talents to SCBA.
These prints are expected to go quickly — an affordable original print from Anagram/Springtide Press, in support of SCBA, is a collectible piece of contemporary northwest art, and makes the perfect gift for the book arts lover in you life!
