Bookbinding I

Seattle Center for Book Arts is proud to present a 4-week course in Bookbinding! This series will encompass an introduction to bookbinding tools & techniques. It will include the basics of bookbinding; cutting, folding, determining paper grain, etc. Simple books will be constructed, including a variety of pamphlet stitch books, a stab binding with a hard cover, accordion books, and a case bound book. Bookbinding I is an excellent introduction to beginners into the world of bookmaking, taught by SCBA board members and instructors.
