3 Unique Hand-Stitched Felt Projects with Kata Golda

Date: Saturday & Sunday, July 24 - 25, 10 – 4 pm

Cost: $250

We will make a 94-page exposed-spine hard covered blank book, a soft wool felt covered 26-page photograph album, and a wool felt photo pocket. The three unique projects will be created using acid free cream colored papers, dyed canvas, wool felt, and lots of hand stitching. If you like to draw with a needle and thread and make "imperfect" stitches, this is the class for you!

Instructor Bio:

Kata Golda is a maker of books and felt objects. She was originally trained as a book and box maker at the Minnesota Center for Book Arts and now writes books about felt craft, illustrates and designs children's books, and makes a line of products ranging from photograph albums to stuffed companions. She has taught workshops all over the country for both kids and adults. Visit her website at katagolda.com.

SCBA Cancellation/Refund Policy:

  • If your class is canceled by SCBA, you will promptly receive a full refund.
  • If you cancel more than 21 days prior to the first day of class, you will receive a full refund.
  • If you cancel 21 days or less before the first day of class, you will receive a credit for the amount of the original class to be used for any future SCBA class offered within one year from the date of the cancellation.
  • If you cancel less than 48 hours prior to the first day of class, no credit or refund will be granted. However, it may be possible to obtain handouts for the class pending approval from the instructor and SCBA.
  • If you do not appear in class and we have not heard from you, no credit or refund of any kind will be given.
