SCBA offers classes and workshops on a wide variety
of book arts related topics and techniques. We also accept class
proposals if you are interested in teaching a workshop for us. Download

We offer student discounts for full time high school and college
students (50% off the class fee, full price for the materials fee). We also
offer a 10% discount to SCBA donors. Contact Maggie Booth at maggieb@seattlebookarts.org to
sign up at these special rates. You may also download a registration form [PDF] and mail it in to SCBA to sign up for classes.

The Book as Sculptural Medium Part 1:
Box Construction workshop with David Francis
Using cedar shakes, wire nails, hinges & clasps, and wood glue, participants in this two day workshop will build small boxes that are then collaged with a variety of text-based material.
